About This Spot

Stepping into Ristorante Da Roberta, nestled along Via Lignano Nord in Latisana, feels like entering a quietly cherished corner of Italian hospitality. The air hums with a gentle rhythm, a balance between the calm village pace and the subtle liveliness that good, thoughtfully prepared food brings. Here, the focus is on comfort and connection—a place where familiar faces and occasional newcomers alike settle into moments of unhurried enjoyment.

The atmosphere is warm and uncomplicated, inviting you to slow down and savor each plate as it arrives. Guests often find themselves drawn to the fresh catch of the day, celebrated through a thoughtful mix of seafood specialties that pay homage to the Adriatic’s bounty. Whether it’s the delicate interplay of flavors in a shared antipasto or the richly satisfying textures of grilled fish and tender cuts of meat, each dish feels like an invitation to the region’s deeper culinary stories.

There’s a quietly enduring sense of care here, from the attentive service that senses your needs without intrusion, to the way the kitchen honors tradition while allowing the ingredients to resonate with their natural character. The evening winds down naturally, drawing guests into a sweet pause where a classic tiramisù or a refreshing sorbet offers a delicate farewell to the meal.

Ristorante Da Roberta strikes a gentle balance between treasured local haunt and discovery gem. It’s a place where the pace of life slows for a moment, and the simple joy of sharing good food and company comes fully into view.

Have to say my previous negative experience (i have removed) has been really a hick up. We were back today and I must say everything was perfect. Once we have cleared language gap, we got exactly what we wanted. Nice meat, great fish and surely very distinctive spaghetti with sea food. Needless to say that desert is something special. I do recommend to try “branzina” fish and meat. The service was the same as we have expected and experienced in the last four years being here. Tip. If you are planning to visit in a busy day, make a reservation.

Always good food. Good service. We had a mixed seafood antipasto that was a great portion and was enough for lunch. Wine selection also very good. Highly recommended!

Fabulous restaurant. Make sure to try the seafood if you’re in town.

We really enjoyed the lunch here. Everything was very good. The service was super friendly and kind (they changed our table so our kid can watch the TV closer). Fishes were fresh and well-prepared. And the tiramisu is to die for.

Great local restaurant. We sat outside in the tent ( set it up during Corona time ) and there was a lightning storm passing through. We tried the Spaghetti alla scogliera in blanco, Spaghetti al ragu, Florentina di menzo and calamari for appetizers. They are all very good. The wine selection is also nice. They also bring out a salt stone that we can grilled the steak according to our liking which is a great idea. The service is also fantastic. For dessert , we have the fragole gelato , gelato crème and sgroppino! They are all very good. The coffee one with rum got a nice kick to it.
